Fern Leaf Unfolding

Something green for St. Patty's day.  I like how the background leaves are in the same direction and curvature as the foreground leaf - almost like the young one is trying to emulate the older ones.  I like the tight spirals of each part, the bit of fuzz at the final head and the occasional sharp highlight.  I also like the bit of blue of the sky peaking through.

Nice picture for today!!! (We're having a super warm March day - over 60 degrees.)

Chilling for a couple minutes before Bailey and I head out to play!

I love the blue sky bit, the way the background is blurred (nice bokeh!), and the tension in the unfurling fern leaves. We only see fiddleheads at the top of a single fern stalk....but on a tree fern they're even cooler!

Hi There!

I love your picture here, especially some of the highlights off of the leaves. The one furthest to the right looks almost like a starburst on top, and that really just makes me happy!

I hope you don't mind me following you! I love photography, and I really like your work!
