Skyscape

With the cells of rain moving through, the sky could be rather dramatic out at sea.  Occasionally, we could see a bit of sun depending on the direction one faced.

I like the patch of blue being framed by the white and crossed by the grey clouds.  I like how the land is brought into shadow.  It’s brings interest, but then isn’t too interesting since the sky is what I was going for.  I had taken a number of picture of just sky and just sky and sea, but this one stuck me by putting it into context.image

What a lovely image! The sea and the sky are endless sources of beauty and you've captured some of that beauty here. Thanks for sharing.

The sky looks painted on. I love when it does interesting things like that. You really did a fine job of capturing it. I think getting good sky shots is harder than getting good black dog shots...How are the dazzling duo doing?

The nice thing about the sky is that it doesn't move around as much as the dogs!

The dynamic duo is doing very well considering all the changes they are enduring. We are making a great push on renovating the kitchen and it will likely be gutted this weekend. I'm taking pictures and I intend there to be a blog on such!

I like the bit of 'lace' the trees make at the top of the hill. This could be a lovely tapestry.

Good luck with your kitchen!!! Gutted is not a word I like to hear about a kitchen....but hopefully things will be back together soon! (I must blog on our kitchen stuff too!)

I love this picture. I think it would make great address labels, the top of stationary (as if anyone uses that), or even a persona (or whatever they call it) for Firefox.
