Alpine View

Again I love the mystery.  How far do the mountains go up in that mist?  I love the three layers that I can see, the three values of the gray and the opposing diagonals.  I love the bit of snow that allow me to recognize the mountain.  Any less or any more and the surface would likely be lost in the mist.image

This is gorgeous! It reminds me of The Lord of the Rings, I just wait for Gandalf to appear with his hat and his long cloak.

These look like pretty rugged dark mountains! I can imagine Frodo and Gollum struggling up them. Guess that's why the movie people picked NZ!

Stunning, makes me want to weave a Lord of the Rings cape, get my sword and mount and go into the mist.
How are the kids and how is that kitchen coming along?

I had not thought about LOTR when I picked this one, but you are all right! It does look like a fantasy land!

Theresa - just make sure that you order the Stansborough gray yarn from near Wellington for that cape!

Theresa - kids are doing great and the kitchen is coming along well. I start my new job next week and there's so much to be done on the house before we can actually move. BUT I'm going to try and do am entry about that before Monday! Sorry - got to get back to scrubbing out the fridge to sell it!

Moving, you're moving? New job? I must be missing something somewhere.
