Falls in Milford Sound

Most of the falls in Milford Sound only exist when it rains.  These were one of those peeking through the mist the rain also brought.  I love the mystery of the picture.  I love the break in the mist to show the falls, and the steadiness of the falls and the water of the sound.  I love the basic monochromatic picture, but found there is a great deal of blue lost if I let it become B&W.  I think the blue give it a depth.image

I think this is my favorite photo so far! I, too, love the mystery of it! Very ethereal.

This is a beautiful picture, it looks unreal to me. I like the shady colors.

you say it's falling, but to me it looks like it's rising - what if - Milford Rises instead of Falls...k.

not having seen the blue version, I cannot comment, but this is pretty tremendous...

Lauren - this actually is the blue version - when I went to B&W it lost the depth and became 2D
