(It just gets to be a bit much around here sometimes - even for a Christmas minimalist like me.)

Your pictures are beautiful! (I couldn't get the second link to work though.) The botanical garden looks amazing....and those hiking trails look so inviting.

Plus, I see you've found a sculpture to go with your jade ornament! (OK, I know it's the logo, but I can dream of you bringing back a giant souvenir like that!)

I've been promising myself I'll practice night photography so that when the situation calls for it, I can do it. (Like glowworms, or fireworks, or Halloween festivities.) But have I gone out to capture Christmas lights - which seem like an easy photo practice session? No. Even though my next door neighbor has a tree that would be photogenic. Maybe tonight!!

Thanks for doing such a good job documenting this trip! I really want to go to NZ now!

SueLife Looms Largehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05522897791564181980noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3054697020241573601.post-51160724617642919182009-12-27T07:19:29.970-05:002009-12-27T07:19:29.970-05:00LOL, singing that little ditty would certainly kee...LOL, singing that little ditty would certainly keep me merry! How funny.
Looks like you two had a perfectly satisfying Christmas day. What a wonderful adventure you are on! The pictures look great and congrats on replacing the camera.Theresahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09574936988046982209noreply@blogger.com
